about kori and her love for the kitchen
Kori’s love of baking started at a young age, likely from spending time in the kitchen with her grandpa making homemade biscuits and helping her mom make her famous 20-layer chocolate cake. In high school, Kori made cupcakes for her friend’s birthday and they were such a hit that she ended up making the entire senior class treats for their birthdays as well! Watching their faces light up when they tried a bite of her work kept Kori returning to baking time and time again.
After finishing college in Raleigh, NC, Kori discovered French macarons. Macarons are naturally gluten-free, which encouraged her to continue her journey to perfecting these French confections. Gluten-free baking has been a special passion for Kori due to her family’s dietary restrictions. In addition to macarons, she can make just about anything gluten-free!
